Smile Makeover with 12 porcelain veneers! The advantage here was that this patient already started with attractive features that we just had to balance by restoring harmony to the face. The challenges were a smile that slopes down on her left side, and a hyperactive muscle that pulls the lip up slightly higher on the left side as well, and a tilted midline. With gum recontouring and custom porcelain restorations designed specifically for this patient's face and smile, we were able to create symmetry and almost completely camouflage the upper lip discrepancy.
